Claude runs on a 2nd-to-2nd cycle
All plans on this page share one billing cycle: it opens on the 2nd of the month and closes on the 2nd of the next. If you join mid-cycle you pay only for the days that are left — not a full cycle — and your first full period starts on the next 2nd.

- Join late, pay for the days leftThere are 21 of 30 days left in the cycle that is open now. Our billing works the amount out from exactly those days when you order, and it is in writing before you pay.
- Your first full period starts on the next 2ndAfter the first cycle, renewal moves to whole periods and always begins on the 2nd.
- Nothing renews without youWe message you before the 2nd. You confirm, or it lapses. No card is stored and nothing auto-charges.
Not every tool here uses a shared cycle. A plan on an anniversary rule renews on the date you joined, and its own product page says so instead of this panel.
